Nathan Vermeiren said, “Tech Month Chicago’s mission is about elevating community tech events and that is what we try to do here at Metis. We are happy to be working with Tech Month Chicago this year.”

Tech Month Chicago is an awareness month for technology geared toward all Chicagoland citizens. It consists of a one month only event calendar in September that promotes all of Chicago’s tech events to the public at large for a Technology Awareness Month across the Chicagoland area. The awareness month is geared toward families, kids, and non-techies. Attendees who attend three or more events will get a participation ribbon. In addition, Tech Month Chicago will be encouraging civic engagement and tech education throughout the city as well and working with companies, schools, venues, event coordinators, and more.
